Sugarspell Candle Co is a small-batch candle studio in Orange County, and every corporate order is hand-poured with a label designed for your business. Whether you're thanking clients, welcoming new hires, or celebrating a big milestone with your team, here's everything you need to know to create a gift people will be excited to open.

Sugarspell candles are made with 100% soy wax, cotton wicks, and fragrance oils that are phthalate-free, California Prop 65 compliant, vegan, and cruelty-free. All fragrances meet RIFM and IFRA standards for safety and purity. That makes them an easy yes for anyone on your list who pays attention to what they bring into their home.

Then there are the scents. Each Sugarspell fragrance is inspired by a memory: a favorite vacation spot, a walk through the woods on a crisp morning, a cozy family tradition, or a treat you grew up loving. The Sugarspell scent selection isn’t limited to just what you see in our shop - there are over 100 you can choose from. WIth such a wide variety, it's easy to find a scent that suits everyone on your list.

Your label, your message

Every corporate order includes a custom label at no extra cost. Add your logo, your company name, a thank-you note, or an event date. You can provide the artwork yourself, or leave it to us. You’ll be able to provide feedback until the label looks exactly the way you like it. Once you approve a proof, production starts.

Two sizes to choose from

• The jar holds 5.3oz of candle in a 7oz vessel. This is the classic Sugarspell size and a lovely choice for clients, leadership, or any gift you want to feel extra special.
• The tin holds 2.8oz of candle in a 4oz vessel. It's compact, giftable, and easy to ship in larger quantities, so it's a great match for all-staff gifts and client mailings. If you’d like to create a gift set of 3 tins, this option is also available and comes in a gift box.

How bulk ordering works

Custom label orders start at 25 candles. Each order is hand-poured in small batches, and production typically takes 6 to 10 weeks from scent and label approval, depending on order size.

A 50% deposit is due two months before your desired delivery date, and the remaining payment is due two weeks from delivery. Reaching out early gives you the most scent and size options, especially for the holidays.

Sugarspell also hosts hands-on candle-making workshops for teams across Orange County. Everyone blends their own scent, pours their own candle, customizes a label, and learns all about candle making in the process.

How to order

1. Send an inquiry with your quantity, timeline, and label ideas.
2. You’ll receive a follow-up email with pricing, usually within two business days. Then we’ll start the discussion about scent selection and label design.
3. Decide on your scent, and pay your 50% deposit to reserve your production spot.
4. Approve your label proof. After this, production of your candles begins!
5. Pick up locally or have your order delivered.

Common questions

Is there a minimum order?

Custom label orders start at 25 candles. If you need just a few, individual candles are available in the Sugarspell shop with our signature label.

Can you help us choose a scent?

Absolutely! Tell us a little about the occasion, what scents you want to lean into and stay away from, and who's going to be burning the candles.

Can we use more than one scent in the same order? For example, 50 candles in one scent and 50 candles in another?

Yes! Mixing scents is a fun way to give people on a longer list a little variety.

How does payment work?

A 50% deposit is due two months before your desired delivery date. The remaining payment is due two weeks from delivery.

Do you deliver, or is it local pickup only?

Both are available. We'll work out delivery or pickup once your order is confirmed.

How far in advance should we order for the holidays?

Count back two months from the date you'd like your candles. For early December delivery, that means ordering by early October.
