Your scent, chosen together. You'll have over 200 fragrances to choose from, well beyond what's on our site, all held to the same quality standards. Tell us the notes you have in mind, or just describe what you're going for, and we'll send a shortlist based on what our clients love most and what's trending right now.

Or blend a custom fragrance from scratch. If nothing existing is quite right, we'll develop an original scent for your brand or event and burn-test it until it is. $150 one-time development fee, at any order size.

Gift packaging. Every candle comes in our standard Sugarspell box. If you're envisioning something more specific or elaborate like gift bags, ribbon, or a custom insert card, tell us what you're picturing and we'll quote it.

Most mass-market candles are made with paraffin and fragrance loaded with phthalates. Ours aren't, and they're why our customers choose us.

How it works

  • 1. Tell us what you need.

    Fill out the form below with your quantity, your date, and anything you already know about what you want. We'll come back with pricing and scent recommendations.

  • 2. Pick your scent and approve your label.

    We'll send label proofs for your approval. Nothing goes into production until you've signed off.

  • 3. We source and pour.

    We order fragrance specifically for your batch, then hand-pour, cure, label and pack every candle. This is the part that takes time, and one of the reasons our clients come back. Each one is poured with a lot of love.

  • 4. Delivery or pickup.

    Orders up to 50 candles can ship anywhere in the US. For larger orders we can arrange delivery or pickup throughout Orange County, so everything arrives together and in one piece.

Timeline: 6 weeks for 25 to 100 candles, 8 weeks for 101 to 200, 10 weeks for 201 to 300. That's from the day your scent and label are locked, so we recommend building in a week for the design stage.

Turn the gift into the team event with a workshop

We also run private candle making workshops for teams. Everyone blends their own scent, pours their own candle, and takes it home. It works as an offsite, a team celebration, or a holiday party that isn't dinner and drinks again.

What's your minimum order?

Bulk pricing rates start at 25 candles. Under that, you're welcome to order straight from our shop, or use our custom orders form if you'd like a custom scent or label. Both are at our regular $18 per candle.

How much do they cost?

Pricing depends on quantity and customization, and it comes down as your order grows. Tell us your quantity and budget in the form and we'll send a quote within two business days.

How long does it take?

Six weeks for 25 to 100 candles, eight weeks for 101 to 200, and ten weeks for 201 to 300, counted from the day your scent and label design are approved. For holiday gifting, we recommend reaching out by early September.

Why does it take that long?

Because good things take a little time! We make your candles just for you, from start to finish. We order the fragrance for your specific batch, then pour, cure, label and pack every candle by hand.

Can you make a scent that isn't on your site?

Yes, and usually at no extra cost. Our lineup is what we've launched, but not the limit of what we can make. You'll have over 200 fragrances to choose from, all held to the same quality standards, and we'll help you narrow it down. If nothing existing fits, we'll blend something original for a $150 development fee.

Can you put our logo on the candle?

Yes, and it's included. We'll design the label around your logo (or whatever guidelines you request) and send you a proof to approve before anything gets printed.

Do you ship to individual employees?

Orders up to 50 candles can ship anywhere in the US to a single address. For remote teams, the simplest approach is usually one delivery to a central location for redistribution, and we're happy to quote individual shipments if that works better for you.

Are these safe for a scent-sensitive office?

Our candles are made with 100% soy wax, cotton wicks, and phthalate-free fragrance oils that are Prop 65 compliant. Our scent-sensitive customers often tell us that ours are the only candles they’ve tried that don’t trigger headaches, and we’re proud to offer solutions for everyone. If fragrance sensitivity is a concern for your group, tell us and we'll point you toward our lighter scents.

Do you offer candle making workshops for teams?
