How long does the party take?

Depending on your group size, the session typically takes 60–90 minutes. Candles need about 2–3 hours to fully set, so we recommend doing the candle making earlier in your event or having guests return the next day to pick them up.

What size candle will we make?

Each guest will make a 5.3oz candle with a burn time of 30–35 hours. If you'd like each guest to be able to make more than 1 candle, please mention this in your inquiry so we can provide appropriate pricing.

Can I burn my candle as soon as I get home?

e know it's hard to wait! For the strongest scent, we recommend letting your candle cure for at least 1 week before lighting it. (We’ll include a cute little reminder card with care instructions too!)

How many people can attend?

To keep the experience intimate and interactive, we recommend limiting your guest list to 10 people. However, larger parties can be accommodated for if your space allows.

How far in advance do I need to book?

Please reach out at least 2 weeks in advance so we can reserve your date and prepare everything to make your event the best it can be.

How does payment work?

Full payment is due 1 week prior to your party. Cancellations within 24 hours of the event cannot be refunded.

Do I need to provide anything?

Nope! We'll bring all of the necessary materials. All we need from you is an electrical outlet. We recommend planning to host the event in a kitchen or dining area with a table large enough to accommodate all of your guests.

Can I customize the scents or vessels?

We offer our high-quality white glass vessels with wooden lids, and a rotating selection of Sugarspell’s bestselling and seasonal fragrances. If you’re hosting a themed event and want something special, let us know in your inquiry and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Is this safe for teens?

Yes! The process is safe and age-appropriate for teens. We use clean-burning soy wax and all materials are non-toxic. (And we’ll be there to guide them through every step.)

Do you do corporate or brand events?

Yes! If you’re looking for a creative team-building activity or branded experience, don't hesitate to reach out. We’d love to bring the candle bar to you. Please note however, that events are only scheduled on evenings and weekends.
